The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust rescues elephants when they are in need of rescue, and gives them a place to live. It is also where I got Pika-Pika. And they don’t just protect elephants, they protect Black + White Rinos and other endangered species, too. Plus they open their doors to the public for 1 hour every day so the visitors can learn about conservation work and meet the orphans. You need to book in advance so they can make sure there is space for you.
